Collection: Malak Mattar Collection

Malak Mattar is an artist of startling originality from Gaza who paints powerful expressionist faces, figures and semi-abstract designs. She lived through the 51-day Israeli siege on Gaza in 2014 and began painting at the age of 14 to express her feelings of fear, anxiety and terror. 

Since then, she has produced over 200 paintings displaying Palestinian culture, strength and beauty. 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the Galilee Foundation.
