This one-of-a-kind cushion features the hand-embroidered Handala. Made by artisans specialising in Palestinian embroidery art, it is the perfect gift for you or anyone wanting to surround themselves with Palestinian heritage and culture.

This Mansu embroidery cushion is made from 100% cotton and is 30 cm x 30 cm in size. The filling is fibre, a softer and hypoallergenic option.

Handala is a symbol of solidarity with the resilience of Palestinians who have endured before and since 1948. Created in 1969 by Palestinian political cartoonist Naji al-Ali, Handala has become a recognisable Palestinian symbol.

Mansu's mission is to preserve Palestinian and Jordanian heritage of embroidery through empowering women artisans from different communities through this intricate form of art, for generations to come.

Mansu’s beautiful hand-made scarves and cushions feature "tatreez” (Palestinian embroidery art).
Your purchase of Mansu embroidery products will support disadvantaged Palestinian youth and their future by funding crucial scholarships and education programmes.
